Our professional learning opportunities provide support for the implementation of the Guided Reading Model of reading instruction. This model lays a foundation for exceptional student growth, with “struggling” readers as well as on-level and above-level readers. This includes the five components of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocbulary, and comprehension. Our PD team has a passion for teachng reading and extensive experience with the curriculum.
